This documentation covers the C7 Edge Camera Module and its software components. For other products, please refer to the correct documentation on our website.
C7 features Sony’s industry-leading Pregius S™ industrial image sensors with Global Shutter technology. Pregius S adopts a back-illuminated structure to simultaneously realize a smaller image sensor and a faster frame rate, while still maintaining the high imaging performance of Pregius.
C7 is equipped with NVIDIA® Jetson™ – world’s leading compute platform for embedded AI. You can scale the computation size with your needed performance selected by the model code between: - Nano 4 GB (SXX-N4) - Xavier NX 16 GB (SXX-NX16) - Orin Nano 4 GB (SXX-ON4) - Orin Nano 8 GB (SXX-ON8) - Orin NX 16 GB (SXX-ONX16)

Warranty#
Note
The device is compliant with the European CE requirement. To ensure health and safety you have to use an appropriate power supply with the device, see also interfaces. Make sure the cooling fins are in free air and allow convection or are attached to a metal surface as described in installation.
Warning
Warranty can only be ensured if you don't open the device housing. Thermal coupling and sealing will be irreversible damaged if the housing is opened.
Note
As the device may be used in development, please contact the support if problems with e.g. the device configuration occur or questions towards the API are raised.

Please make sure to handle the device with care. Make sure you don't leave the camera chip lying open or unprotected.
