Firmware reset

The firmware reset currently wipes all apps from the device! If you received the C7 smart camera from an OEM with pre-installed apps and/or licenses, please contact the OEM for further instructions!

The firmware reset is performed by holding down the firmware-reset button on the device while rebooting / power-cycling for approx. 10 seconds. The front LED will confirm the operation by blinking 3x (you may now release the button). After another approx. 20 s, the operation is done, as indicated by another blink-sequence. The C7 smart camera will wipe all user data from the SSD drive, including apps, docker images, user configurations, IP configurations.
